I thought the Lakers would've been well of if they're defense was on point in the 3rd quarter. That in and of itself could've given them more ball possession in addition to Kobe's 19 points.
Tough for whom? Boston plays better on the road, so taking it back to LA puts them at an advantage. I think Kobe is starting to get a taste of what LeBron feels, i.e. being the only one on his team putting in any work. Oh well!
I wouldn't say all that. Boston has been playing better on the road this series, however, as a team, they do support Kobe; it's the only way they've been able to lead the Western Conference AND get a ring.
Sometimes I think Kobe plays on a different page then they do. In game 5, Kobe waited to start scoring until the 3rd quarter. He was doing a lot of passing in the first half, trusting in his team to follow through; they didn't do to well this time. I think they'll have a better game 6 and ultimately pull through in Game 7. They just need to put someone else on Garnett, because Gasol is getting his shit rocked.
Annnnnnd...Boston does play better on the road, but the Game 2 Laker loss was the first home game they lost since the playoffs began, so I'd say it's still pretty evenly matched.
How does the fact that Boston was able to break that record bode well for LA? Whatever the case, I hope the Lakers get THEIR shit rocked tomorrow. I want to see Derek Fisher cry [again], and Kobe stomp around like the brat he is. Bruahahahaha
I rather watch the old school days of Boston and LA but this will do. Game 7: Boston will be throwing up the 3s. Garnett will have to shine..What happened to Rondo...Step it up...
LA: Kobe will do his thing....It's up to Gasol....If he explodes down low early, watch out. Artest will start feeling the 3 point itch watching Boston. Could hurt or help, we will see....
Just let it be close.....I respect both sides....
One day we will be talking about other teams; even Memphis and Nets but until then we have to see the Lakers/Celtics over and over again.........

However, I do like Rondo. He's the man.

It's going to be tough the last TWO games.
